While Ibogaine and iboga root bark are still fairly obscure medicines there has been some great media created that highlight its effectiveness and story.

Starting with my favorite, here’s ‘Ibogaine: Rite of Passage’.  This is one of my favorites as it covers the traditional African use of this medicine as well as it’s modern Western application for busting addiction.

Detox or Die is a gritty look at the heroin scene in the UK.  It’s a tough one to watch as the documentary film maker starts off by wanting to film his friends the druggies, but he quickly becomes a druggie again himself through his exposure.  As the saying goes, “If you stay in the barbershop long enough, you’ll get a haircut.” Thankfully he knows about ibogaine and reaches out for it’s help.

Joe Rogan gets props from me.  He’s a free thinker who is not afraid to dig to the truth of a matter, even if that means he’s going to be out of line with the status quo.  His podcast must number in the hundreds, and here’s a great one discussing ibogaine:

This is another excellent documentary out of the UK by Bruce Parry in his series, Tribe.  This highlights the traditional initiation practices utilized by the Bwiti religion of West Africa.
